- When can I order?
- Ordering opens Monday at 12am and closes Thursday at 12am, or earlier if the week's bake sells out. Everything is baked Sunday morning.
- Where do I pick up?
- In San Elijo Hills, Sunday 9–11am. The exact address is on your confirmation page and in your email after you pay.
- Do you deliver?
- Yes, Sunday 11am–1pm, to 92078, 92069, 92081, 92083, 92084, 92029. Delivery is $5, free on orders over $40. We don't ship.
- Is there a minimum?
- $12 for pickup.
- Allergens
- Everything contains wheat. Items brushed with butter contain milk. Our pretzels are dipped in a food-grade sodium hydroxide (lye) solution before baking, which is standard for Bavarian pretzels and fully neutralized in the oven. We bake in a home kitchen that also handles eggs, nuts, and dairy.
- Storage and reheating
- Pretzels are best the day they're baked. For later: store in a paper bag at room temperature for a day, or freeze in a sealed bag. Reheat from room temperature at 350°F for 4–5 minutes, or from frozen for 8–10. Skip the microwave — it makes the crust soft.
- What if I miss my pickup?
- Text us and we'll do our best to hold your order. Unclaimed orders can't be refunded, since everything is baked to order.
- Refunds and changes
- Need to change or cancel? Email us before the order window closes and we'll refund in full. After the cutoff the dough is already made, so we can't cancel — but we'll always make it right if something's wrong with your order.
- Are you a licensed business?
- Yes. Bavarian Pretzel Haus is a registered Class A cottage food operation with the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEH2026-FCFO-002512), with a City of San Marcos business license.
